In the build up to Christmas our school has eagerly taken the opportunity to go ice skating. We travelled by train to Canary Warf to have a go at what was a new activity to us all. We all felt a bit nervous and stepped onto the ice with some trepidation. However, after a few bumps, lots of slips and plenty of encouragement we were all zipping around like professionals. As we got back to school, we were all talking about how much fun we had and how good we felt that we kept going, even when we fell. We realised that there will be bumps on the way to any learning goal, and that’s ok!
