On Thursday, Sapphire took the DLR to the Royal Observatory in Greenwich. After a (very steep) climb up the hill in Greenwich Park we got to relax in the Planetarium and watch a film about planets, the moon and the stars... all on the ceiling! We all really enjoyed it. We also visited the Great Equatorial Telescope and straddled the Prime Meridian line! We were lucky the weather held up so we had a picnic in the park to end our trip. The pupils were impeccably behaved and all the adults were very proud of them.
